Organic & Biological Programme
Macra Agricultural Skillnet are delighted to confirm that in partnership with NOTS, 2026 will see the first intake for the new part-time NOTS Level 5 'Organic and Biological Programme' leading to the QQI Level 5 Certificate in Agriculture. This, coupled with the Level 6 Special Purpose Award in Farming, will give farmers the equivalent of the 'Green Cert'.
The target learner group is anyone who is interested in obtaining the ‘Green Cert’. Entry is open to residents in Ireland aged 18 and over.
The programme will last for approximately 15 months and will be fully in-person training. Please note that to achieve ‘Green Cert’ recognition, learners must complete both the Level 5 Certificate in Organic and Biological Agriculture and the L6 Advanced Certificate in Organic and Biological Agriculture.
