Manufacturing Medicated Feed
The course is for those in a feed business dealing with the production, supply chain and manufacture of medicated feed. Following the training session a link will be sent to participants to complete a multiply choice quiz. After successfully passing this quiz, you will receive a certificate of attendance via email (within 2 weeks of completion).Two dates available to attend.
Delivered online from 9.30 am – 11.30 am on Tuesday 24th June by Cornelia O’Connell, Irish Grain and Feed Association (IGFA), who has been involved in the Irish feed industry for over 20 years and with the European Feed Industry medicated feed task force. If you can’t make the course on the 24th, there will be another course delivered online on Tuesday 4th July from 9.30 am – 11.30 am.
This course will cover the following areas:
- Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) general understanding
- Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and animal feed
- Medicated feed manufacturing regulations Europe
- Medicated feed manufacturing regulations Ireland
- Manufacturing MF – best practice
The cost per participant is €75 for members of IGFA, with an additional small surcharge of €35 for non members.
Feed Labelling and Feed Claims Online Course
An online training course delivered by the Irish Grain and Feed Association, working with Macra Agricultural Skillnet. The course is comprised of four modules
Module 1: Feed Labelling Regulation
Module 2: Building the label
Module 3. Feed Claims
Module 4: Feed Formulations the basics
Participants will be required to complete an assessment in order to receive their certification.
This course costs €70 per participant.

Feed Regulations & HACCP for Animal Feed Manufacturing
An online training course delivered by the Irish Grain and Feed Association, working with Macra Agricultural Skillnet. The course is comprised of four modules- Introduction to Feed Regulation, HACCP Principles, Prerequisites and Applications
Participants will be required to complete an Assessment in order to receive their certification. This course costs €70 per participant.

Feed Safety Management System for Retailers and Wholesalers of Animal Feed
An online training course delivered by the Irish Grain and Feed Association, working with Macra Agricultural Skillnet. The course is comprised of two modules
Module 1: History of Animal Feed Regulation and Module 2: HACCP Application
Participants will be required to complete an assessment in order to receive their certification. This course costs €70 per participant.
